The roof of main building in the right center adapts gablet proof structure, the so called Southern min residential-style “Sanchuan Ridge” proof. The blocks strewn at random, full of rhythmic. Jimei Building and Tongan Building also adapt Chinese style building mainly, latticed proofs and stone-made walls, elegant and unique. While Xiangying Building and Yingxue Building, which were named from the allusion of two hard-working kids named Xiangying and Yingxue, adapts western architectural style. That the whole Qunxian Buildings take Chinese style structure as the first and western style structure as the second reflects Mr. Jiageng Chen’s emphasis on national spirit.

Theatre of Hubei Normal University has at least 4 characteristics, firstly, the right location. The Library of Wuhan University and the buildings around were listed the 5th batch of China’s nationally protected relics, this is the only one among other libraries in China.

The Library of Wuhan University is well-known worldwide for its long history, well-stocked books, grand buildings and elegant surroundings, it can be dated back to the library of Hubei Self-improvement School established by governor-general of Hu-Guang Zhang Zhidong in the end of last centuries, the library was formally founded to the the real one in 1917, and was named as National Library of Wuhan University in 1928. Wuhan University started using the building of the old library located on lakeside of East Lake and top of Shizi Shan. Yuelu Academy lies at the foot of Yuelu Mount in Changsha, it is one of China’s 4 ancient libraries. The main buildings of the Academy are centered on axle wire, the main axle stretches forward to west bank of Xiang River, and extends back toward to the top of Lu Shan, on the axle there established pavilions, terraces and open halls, and beside the axle there is Confucius' temple, this forms the splendid scenery with pavilions airy pavilions and pagodas side by side, and mountains surrounded by water.

On October 1945, Hunan University was resettled back to Yuelu Shan. In 1947, the university appealed enterprise to establish library and completed the construction in the following year, the library has three floors for books and several catalogues and offices. In 1951, it was expanded as large as 2,000 square meters. The library with birds-shaped watts, cornices painting houses and classic style of architecture stands on famous mountain, and is full of distinct minority' characteristics.
