Central University of Finance and Economics is colloquially known in Chinese as Zhongcai or Yangcai and formerly as the Central Institute of Finance and Economics, is a university in Beijing, China. It is a Project 211 university which receives support from the Chinese central government.Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) was founded in 1949, shortly after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Originally named the Central Institute of Taxation, it was the first university of finance and economics established by the Chinese central government. In 1996, the Institute was given its current name.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was founded in 1917, is a finance- and economics-oriented research university located in Shanghai, the People's Republic of China. The university is under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and is among the 100 key schools in the national Project 211.SUFE has enjoyed a reputation of being one of the best finance and economics universities in China for many years. The university had been consistently ranked No. 1 in the “finance and economics” category in 2003, 2004, 2005,2007 and 2008 by the Chinese university ranking. Since 2005, the university has achieved substantial improvements in terms of research and started to gain international reputation. According to Tilburg University’s Economics Schools Research Ranking in 2012,SUFE is ranked 120th in the world, 9th in Asia and 3rd in mainland China, only after Tsinghua University and Peking University. In 2005, SUFE introduced the academic tenure and became the first university in China to adopt this system. As of December 2012, there were more than 120 tenure-track faculty members at SUFE, of which most are Ph.D. graduates from renowned overseas universities.

SWUFE is a national key university under direct administration of the Ministry of Education and is listed in both “Project 211” and “985 Innovative Platforms for Key Disciplines Project ”of the Chinese government as part of the national endeavor to build world-class universities in the 21st century. It is also selected as one of the trial spots for nation-wide educational reform. Located in the city of Chengdu, SWUFE now has two campuses, the Guanghua Campus and the Liulin Campus. With an overall area of about 380 acres (or 2300 Chinese Mu), SWUFE is also known for its picturesque campus scenery.

The university was founded in 1958 and is one of the earliest universities offering applied economics and business administration in China.n the early yearsof TUFE, the school was greatly contributed by faculty of the business school of Nankai University and other professors in North China. This was due to the readjustment of national education system after the foundation of PRC. The university is under the municipal government of Tianjin on 1 October, 1969.

It was founded in 1948 as Zhongyuan University, whose financial department later merged with the economic and financial departments from Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University, etc., to form the Central South Institute of Finance and whose law department merged with other schools' to form the Central South Institute of Law. The two universities were subsequently merged and separated throughout the Cultural Revolution and finally merged again to form the university today.The MBA program of this university was accredited by the Association of MBAs.

Shijiazhuang University of Economics (SUE) was established in 1953 from the former Xuanhua Geology School. It developed into Hebei College of Geology subjected to the Ministry of Land and Resources of China. In 1985 it moved from Xuanhua, an ancient town northwest of the Great Wall, to Shijiazhuang the capital of Hebei Province. In 1996, the name changed to Shijiazhuang University of Economics. Since 2000 it is subjected to both the Central Government and the local government of Hebei Province with the local government as its main supervisor.
