CPU is located in Nanjing , the "ancient capital city of six dynasties" in China and is composed of two campuses including Xuanwumen campus located in downtown Nanjing and Jiangning campus in the southeast outskirt of Nanjing.

Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(SUTCM),located in Pudong Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, is a prestigious TCM higher institution in China. Established in 1956 and then known as Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine,it is one of the earliest TCM higher institutions since the foundation of People’s Republic of China. SUTCM values quality over scale by giving priority to characteristic disciplines and emphasizing the importance of practical skills. Shenyang Pharmaceutical University (SPU) is a university with glorious, old-historical traditions that have brought it to prominence as one of the only two comprehensive pharmaceutical universities in all of China. It was born at Ruijin in the Province of Jiangxi in 1931, though it moved to its present location on the banks of the Hun River in Shenyang, Liaoning in 1949.
SPU has developed into a multidisciplinary, multilevel and multiform institute of higher learning , covering wide and diverse majors within the domain of pharmaceutical study. It consists of the Schools of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Traditional Chinese Medicines, Business Administration, Basic Courses, and Adult Education. The University has been authorized to confer Master's and Doctor's Degrees and to enroll students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, as well as other foreign countries.

Jiangsu University (JU) is ranked among the top 100 out of over 2,000 higher educational institutions in China. JU isone of the oldest institutions in China, and its origin can be traced back to 1902 when it was first established as Sanjiang Normal College. JU was then founded out of the initial college by combining the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (a national key university), Zhenjiang Medical Collegeand Zhenjiang Teachers’ College with approval from the Ministry of Education, China in August, 2001. Currently, JU is a teaching, research and community oriented comprehensive institution with emphasis on engineering disciplines. It is one of the first groups of universities that offered doctoral programs for students. At the moment, JU has 26 schools offering 87 bachelor, 170 master and 42 PhD degree programs in 9 academic fields namely: Engineering, Science, Medicine, Literature, Economics, Law, Management, Education and History. In addition, the university has 3 national key academic disciplines. Four principles, Engineering, Materials Science, Clinical and Chemistry, ranks among the top 1% of the ESI Inte’l Discipline Ranking.

As a key provincial university, Anhui Medical University is a medical institution with the longest history in Anhui province. Since its foundation in 1926, Anhui Medical University has accumulated a profound historical background with the university motto “Study hard and try to practise, bring up excellent doctors” and university ethos “seeking for earnest, proficiency and creativity”. Capital Medical University (CMU) was founded in 1960. It ranks among the top academic medical institutions in China,and is considered as one of the key municipal universities in Beijing. The founding President, Professor Wu Jieping, was a world-renowned urologist, member of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The current President is Professor Lu Zhaofeng.
CMU consists of 10 Schools, 14 affiliated hospitals and 1 teaching institution. The university and the affiliated hospitals have a staff of about 20,000. Among the staff, there are 6 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, over 1,000 professors, and over 2,000 associate professors. The university has over 9,000 enrolled students.

Dalian Medical University (DMU) was founded in 1947, originally known as Guandong Medical College. In 1949, it joined with Dalian University and the name was changed into the Medical College of Dalian University. In 1950, the organizational system of Dalian University was cancelled and since then Dalian Medial College had become an independent college. In 1969, the college moved to Zunyi, a city of Guizhou Province, to establish the Zunyi Medical College. And in 1978, the college moved back to its original location in Dalian, still with the name of Dalian Medical College. In 1994, approved by the State Education Commission (SEC), DMU adopted its present name. Nowadays, the university has fledged into a multi-disciplinary medical university which also offers programs in other fields like arts, science, management, and law.

Now situated near Wu Tai Shan Sports Center and Xin Jie Kou central business district in central Nanjing, Nanjing Medical University was originally founded in Zhenjiang in 1934 as National Jiangsu Medical College. The college was moved to Nanjing in 1957 and renamed Nanjing Medical College. In 1962, it joined the first group of medical universities in China to offer six-year programs, and was approved to award doctoral and master's degrees in 1981. In 1993, it was renamed Nanjing Medical University with the approval of the State Educational Committee. Currently a comprehensive university with the disciplines of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, Management and Law, Nanjing Medical University enjoys high regard at home and abroad.

Liaoning Medical University (LMU) is located in the coastal city of Jinzhou in Liaoning Province, five hours east of Beijing.
The campus covers 1,140,000 square meters and lies in the north of the city. Six kinds of education are offered in LMU: general high education, state-owned privately run education, adult education, vocational education, online education and international students` education. The university enrolls undergraduate, graduate and master as well as postgraduate students. There are 16 teaching departments, 98 teaching offices, 56 teaching laboratories, 4 affiliated comprehensive hospitals and 169 bases for teaching and practice. The university`s curriculum comprises 21 specialized undergraduate subjects, 32 master degree programs and 1 doctor degree program. Among the faculty members there are 823 full-time teachers, 74 of whom have been granted a doctoral degree, 533 associate professors and 219 professors and chief doctors.
