  • Central South University (CSU) is a comprehensive and national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education in China. CSU was established in April, 2000 on the basis of the amalgamation of the three former individual universities, namely Central South University of Technology, Hunan Medical University and Changsha Railway University. CSU is situated in Changsha, Hunan. Gao Wenbing is secretary of the Communist Party of China's CSU Committee, and Prof.Huang Baiyun, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, is president of CSU.
  • Tianjin University is the first university in China founded in 1895 and also one of the key universities directly under the Ministry of Education of China.   • Northwestern Polytechnical University is a National Key University, directed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The university emphasizes on the education and research in aeronautical, astronautical and marine engineering. In February 2012, NPU has 13,736 graduate students (3,063 full-time doctorate candidates, 7,087 master candidates, 3,586 professional degree candidates) and 14,395 undergraduate students.
  • University of Science and Technology Beijing is formerly known as Beijing Steel and Iron Institute before 1988, is a national key university in Beijing, China. USTB's metallurgy and materials science programmes are highly regarded in China. The university was founded in 1952 from the combination of five former colleges. It was known then as the Beijing Industrial Institute of Steel and Iron. It was renamed as Beijing Steel and Iron Institute in 1960. The University of Science and Technology Beijing name was not adopted until 1988. In 1997, USTB was selected into the first tier of universities for China's 211 Project (involved with the development of 100 world class universities in the 21st century for China).
  • Dalian University of Technology is colloquially known in Chinese as Dagong, is a public research university located in Dalian and Panjin, Liaoning, People's Republic of China. DUT, previously renowned as one of the Big Four Institutes of Technology, is among China's top universities for engineering and technology. It is also one of the national key universities administered directly under the Ministry of Education of China.
  • Xi’an Shiyou University (XSYU) stands out as the only one characterized by its disciplines in petroleum and petro-chemistry in the northwestern part of China. Today, it operates with the joint support of both the local provincial government and the three major oil companies in China (CNPC, SINOPEC, and CNOOC).   • Wuhan University of Technology located in Wuhan, Hubei, China - was founded on May 27, 2000, from the former three universities, Wuhan University of Technology (established in 1948), Wuhan Transportation University (established in 1946) and Wuhan Automotive Polytechnic University (established in 1958). WUT is one of the leading Chinese universities accredited by the Ministry of Education and one of the universities constructed in priority by the "State Project 211" for Chinese higher education institutions.
  • NCUT (North China University of Technology) is located in the western part of Beijing City and situated at the foot of picturesque Xishan Hills with traffic facilities and pleasant environment. NCUT is founded in 1946 and in 1985 it was renamed North China University of Technology, which is a multi-disciplinary institution, taking Engineering as its main fields of study and instruction, combines Engineering and Science with Liberal Arts, Economy, Management and Law in its teaching and research programs. Ever since 1998, NCUT was funded by Central Government and Beijing Municipal Government and began to run mainly under the administration of Beijing Municipal Government. At present, NCUT has a population of 11 thousands more students altogether, including the full-time undergraduate students and postgraduate students, besides, it has more than 4000 students in Adult Higher Education NCUT enrolls its students from all parts of the country, in the past 10 years, the enrollment score of NCUT was higher than that for key-universities in more than two-thirds of all the provinces, such as Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Jiangxi and so on.
