School of Electronic Engineering is the biggest and the earliest college of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Currently, this college has nearly 300 teaching and administrative staff, in which, one is academician of the Chinese Academy of Science, 100 are professors and a professors. This college also has ADI-DSP technology laboratory. The main research field includes electromagnetic radiation and scattering, microwave and millimeter wave technology, radar detection and imaging technology, electronic reconnaissance and jamming technology.

School of Electronics and Information Engineering was set up in 1998. The history can be traced back to 1954. Currently, this school’s subject area covers the subjects of information and communication engineering. School of Electronics and Information Engineering is equipped with 7 research centers like radio-electronics department, photovoltaic technology department, etc. Currently, it has 125 teaching and administrative staff. It has begun to undertake national items like “973”, “863”, etc. and over 200 provincial and ministerial level items.

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, School of Communication and Information Technology was founded in 1959. Since its foundation, it has cultivated 12,000 students. Currently, it has over 3,000 full-time students at school. For the past many years, this school has undertaken over 100 cooperative items, including the national natural science funds, 863 project, national 85 and 95 key scientific and technological projects, etc. Many items have been industrialized and have gained preferable economic benefit and social influence.

Kunming University of Science and Technology, College of Mechanical Engineering is based on the electromechanical subject. Currently, this college has 194 teaching and administrative staff. There are over 2,200 undergraduate students at school. It has a mobile station for the post-doctors and 2 doctor stations. Since its foundation in 2,000, this college has accomplished 250 research projects, in which, 10 won provincial and ministerial level research achievement prizes, 1 won the gold medal of national invention exposition, 1 won the silver medal.

Guilin University of Electronic Technology, School of Electronic Engineering has 4 bachelor's majors and 2 master's stations. The technology and equipment of observing and controlling major has over 20 years' history. There are 1,378 undergraduate students and 100 graduate students at this school. Currently, there are over 70 teachers. It has strong research strength. Till now, it has undertaken 8 national level research projects and 28 provincial and ministerial level items. The research fund amounts to over 13 million yuan.
