The Nursing School was founded in 1984, which was the first authorized unit of master degree in nursing profession. There are 3 offices, 4 teaching and researching rooms with 45 teaching staffs and 4 American nursing experts. The teaching building has an area of 6000 square meters that equipped with teaching areas, simulated ward area, nursing research area, office area, 7 multimedia classrooms, 2 computer rooms, 15 practice rooms for basic nursing, clinic comprehension, health assess and nutrition, 2 Physical exercise rooms and library about nursing with more than 1300 Chinese books.

Its Nursing School was founded in 1997 which was one of earliest nursing schools in China. At present, it owns 70 staffs including 50 teachers and it is a separated school with an area of 26 acres. In its first-class national “nursing practice teaching and learning center”, there are 3 simulated wards, 1 simulated operation room, 1 simulated intensive care unit and 3 demonstration theaters for nursing practice courses. And the nursing center has installed all the electronic equipments. Except for the teaching and researching rooms on campus, it owns a considerate clinic practice teaching base out of school, as well.

Its Nursing School was founded in June 2000. At present, it owns 46 staffs, 3 master instructors, 5 researching rooms for basic nursing and nursing management, 1 central laboratory or nursing. Besides, it also has computer rooms, language rooms, multimedia classrooms and multimedia demonstration rooms for nursing. At the same time, it possesses the medical and nursing teaching facilities as well as advanced international teaching equipments. Such practice bases as Qilu Hospital and Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University make its students more professional. Meanwhile, there are more than 4000 Chinese and foreign language books together with 20 kinds of periodicals.

Established on the 8th May 1998, its nursing school has 16 teachers including 9 staffs with senior professional title in total. The school owns advanced teaching and researching facilities. Besides, there are a computer room, a language laboratory and a nursing skill teaching center with advanced nursing teaching model. A comprehensive and multi-functional modern laboratory has been established after many years development and created a better environment for professional teaching and researching.

The Nursing school of Central South University developed from Yali Nursing School that was founded by American Yali Association in Changsha Hunan Province. It owns a team of excellent staffs including 25 full-time teachers. There are a nursing research center with advanced nursing teaching models and equipments from China and abroad. Meanwhile, it is the assessment base for self-study examination of nursing undergraduates in Hunan Province.
