  • Mt. Everest, also known as Mt.Qomolangma, is the highest peak in the world. The 8,848 meters (29,028 feet) high peak, snow capped throughout the year. Around Mt.Everest, there are four peaks above 8,000 meters high and other 14 peaks above 7,000 meters, which form an amazing picture of Mt.Everest Natural Scenery Area with jokuls, peaks groups, and mountain waves.
  • K2 peak, locally known by the name of “Chogo Ri”, which means "The Great Mountain", 8,611m, is the 2nd highest mountain in the world. K2 is placed on the Pakistan - China border in the mighty Karakoram Range. K2 is a rocky mountain up to 6,000m, beyond which it becomes an ocean of snow. The traditional route to K2's base camp goes from Skardu, which is linked with Islamabad by a good road.
  • Namjagbarwa Peak, 7,782 meters high, is the 15th highest peak in the world. In face of the Indian Ocean, It reflects an obvious vertical landform. The sky-scraping Namjagbarwa Peak, with its majestic appearance, precipitous shape and unpredictable climate, has been an ambitious aim of mountain-climbing organizations from various countries.
  • Minya Konka, at the foot of the glacier from the main peak 7,556m, is the highest mountain in Sichuan. Situated in the Daxue Shan mountain range in the southwest of Sichuan, it is a sacred mountain to the Tibetans. There are different trekking routes around the mountain range, the most popular being a trek to the Konka Monastery.
  • Meili Snow Mountains rise between the Salween River and the Mekong River in the extreme edge of Northwest Yunnan Province. The holy Kawa Karpo (6740M), the highest peak of Meili, is one of the most sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism. It is recommended to fulfill the circuit of Kawa Karpo during the Year of Sheep.
  • Mt. Kailash, 6656 high, is a peak in the Shenshan Mountain in Tibet. It is the source of some of the longest rivers in Asia and is a sacred mountain not just to one faith but to four: Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and followers of B?n. The mountain is sacred because the founder of their faith, Rishabhadeva, attained liberation from rebirth on the mountain.
  • The mountain group is at an elevation of 2000m to 6000m. The Three Mountain (Sanshen) includes Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, Xianuoduoji, which are the God of guard to Aden Tibetan. They are the symbol of Bodhisattva, and it is told that if the Tibetan people can make their wish come true by worship three times to them.
  • Mt. Emei is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious. In Mt. Emei there are four scenic regions: Baoguo Temple, Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavilion and Golden Summit. Its main peak, the Golden Summit, is 3079.3 meters (10,103 feet) above the sea level, seemingly reaching the sky.
  • Situated in Huayin City, 120 kilometers east from Xian City of Shaanxi Province, Mt. Huashan is known as 'The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven'. It is one of the five sacred mountains in China. The highest peak is 2160 m.It has many places of historic interest and scenic beauty, as well as many fantastic and legendary stories. Its fascination will last forever.
  • Mt. Huangshan, which is situated in the south of Anhui Province, covers an area of about 250 square kilometers. It has numerous mountain peaks; the highest is the Guang Ming Ding (Bright Summit) at 1860 meters above sea level. Its charm lies especially in its strange pines, fantastic rocks, the sea of clouds and hot springs - the four supreme sights on the mountain.
