According to some researches in Europe, Zhuhai is the most popular city of China among Europeans. Besides, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Lhasa, Beijing, Lijiang, Kunming, Chengdu, Luoyang and Weihai are also on the ranking list.

Located in southeast part of Guangdong Rrovince, Zhuhai is called “an island city”. It is adjacent to the South Sea, with Shenzhen and Hong Kong to the east. Occupying a total area of 7,649 square kilometers, it has coastline of 731 kilometers, composed of 146 islands scattered in the sea. Zhuhai is a bright pearl on the bank of South Sea, which is one of the four earliest special economic zones to open up to the outside world in China.

Xi'an situates on the southern part of central Shannxi Plain, with Weihe River to the north, Zhongnai Mountain to the south. It is characterized of moderate climate, fertile lands, abundant resources and beautiful landscapes. Xi'an in ancient time was called Chang-an, which was the origin of Silk Road wrote in Travels of Marco Polo. Located on Naxi Autonomous County of Lijiang in Yunnan Province, Lijiang ancient city is called Dayan City, which is the only one ancient city having no city walls among all famous historical ancient cities.
